Hello what if the leaves are flat ? What can I do
I have a huge pot filled with Sansiviera and I only water once a month! It has several pups and they are growing really fast. I have the plant in a north facing window and the leaves are all over 3 ft tall!
I love the pencil 😂

OMG! Thank you for showing me what a thrip looks like. Ive watched tons of plant care videos, but they never showed what thrips actually look like. Very helpful.
You are so welcome!
The IV bag water system is a great idea.
Thanks!
Hi. How to fix a leggy mango tree with leaves? I want it to branch out. Its about 5 ft. tall in a container.
When to change the water.. whenever i kept leaves into water they are getting rot in couple of week. Please tell me what’s going wrong. And also i tried keeping stem into water down i can see they are also getting rot. I used filtered water changing every 3 4 days also not sure what’s going wrong. Pls help
Great video, the dog is so sweet
Thank you very much!
I just want the whole root system out of my garden! Any ideas of how to remove it, and what with would be great. It's been in 16 years, so it was fairly high!
Where location are you in Canada?

@@EverythingPlants Hi could you send me the link of how to care alocasia plants please
How do I start to grow the trunk!?
Bon jardinage!
I have about ten leaves which I could all turn in very small plants, but they all stopped growing now, what am I doing wrong?
Does the single leaf need Sunlife to propagate while it’s drying out 3 to 5 days?
You can literally leave it in a vase of pure water and it will live.
You did a beautiful job with your ZZ's.
Thanks!
I love when my jades are babies, they're so cute. I have around 20 new jades growing in a tupperware of cactus mix. I find that once you let them callous, they actually enjoy their soil kept pretty moist until they establish roots & start plumping out their leaves, especially my gollums. Don't be afraid to water Jade plants, you can super soak them when it's time to water, especially in their growing season. The best time to water mature plants is when the soil is completely dry & the leaves look a bit puckered.
I've got a number of largish jades that haven't been repotted in four or five years, and the soil is very compacted. They're presently in rather shallow 8" W x 4" D terra cotta pots. I pulled one plant out and kind of surprisingly it is not pot-bound. But, I do believe they would benefit from new soil. So I intend to proceed using your method in this video to return them to the same pots with fresh soil. I don't have a nifty root rake like yours, but I'll manage. Thanks.
I've got a half dozen largish jade plants and the first few times I pruned them I managed to give away most of the cuttings. Well, I'm prunning again and I'm afraid everyone I know who wants a jade has already got them (from me). I don't know what I'm going to do this time. I was joking to my sister that the cuttings might go into composting and she said no!!! But, she doesn't want any more either. And this all started with a small $3 plant about eight years ago.
I'm curious how the little cuttings did? I'm watching at 7 months later...
Hi Jeff The temperature outside is 55 can keep jade outside What fertilizer should I give to this plant
Finally a great explanation of low-light medium light and highlight.
Thanks!
WHATS SO WORNG WITH THE DOLLAR STORE
Nothing at all. Except these cheap things fell apart
My concern would be extending the plant. This would look so nice inside if you had one tall enough to reach the ceiling.
This is dangerous. We’re going to have about 50 plants from one.
I need to trim mine and it needs to repot. I'm guessing bad to do at the same time?
I was afraid of crowding but looks like they don't mind being together. I just separated all my vines and now I'm frantically watching videos for the best way
I separated my 3head trichocerius...😢 BUT.. Im looking forward to watching them grow separated❤❤
Thank you. People say they don't like water but i don't leave it without water for too long. After watching you i believe I'll start watering more frequently for i wait more than the three other plants to water I have it for 4 months. I reppotted it because the soil didn't look well. It was very hard to take it from the old pot. Is just have me 6 shoots. Two long, a medium and three little ones. 😅 Thank you for the video.
If it’s under a grow light how far should it be and how many hours?
Hi I have replanted it, but the leaves are falling. Do I wait ten days or water it?
I put some cuttings in soil 5 years ago. It has grown to a full size plant now. I forgot about them most of the time, they where in the corner of my windowsill behind the curtain. Every now and then I gave it some water. So yes, you can put them in soil, but it takes a lot of time .
A tip I learned long ago was to put a paper coffee filter over the drainage hole to keep potting soil from falling out. Works like a charm.
I have done this as well
My large jade is suffering. I can see it on the leaves - squishy, white spotted, and the soil is as you described. I planned to repot so appreciate your video! Silly question... what did you do with that rock? I suspect you used it as a stopper at the base of your terra cotta pot. Wouldn't that prevent drainage and cause root rot? Also, how much water is too much? Thanks very much for any advice...before I repot! Louise C. Montreal, Canada
I have an ordinary 6500K led house light bulb that I use on my seedlings and I would say that it works, but not as efficiently as I would like it to because my seedlings grow very slowly. I'm thinking about buying grow lights better.
The leaves on my ZZ are shinny and green, but at their base where they meet the stem there is a hard brown crust. Is this and infestation or disease? How should I treat it? Thank you.
After a month's adjustment, my jades do fine with full summer sun.
I live in Florida. In the summer, my jades do just fine in full sunlight for the lion's share of the day, after being acclimated over a month's time. Nice, informative video. Thanks.
I was glad to hear you sand spring and SUMMER. My jades are overdue, haven't been pruned in several years, and it's mid June. In past prunnings, I ended up with way more cuttings than I could handle. I gave some away to family members who now have more than they want. I hate to dispose of them. Maybe offer them on craigslist? Propagating is easy peazy. Maybe too easy. I could open a jade plant business if there were people willing to adopt them.
I've got some older jade plants (6-7 years old) with nice woody stems. But, I've neglected them for several years and I know they would benefit from pruning, even though I'm late! It's mid June. Yeah, it's a little scary, although I've done it before with good results. The thing is, ending up with way more cuttings than I care to deal with. I wish I could find some way to give all of the cuttings a home.
Is it ok to just give them a splash of water
But how do you know when it's time to move to a bigger pot?
I have a cactus that got broken in transit to a new apartment last year. I put the broken off branch back on the area it had been attached to and it kind of reattached itself. Eventually though, the broken piece finally became detached again and it seems to be healthy but I want to help it grow some new roots. Is this possible?
for larger pots shove a tampon in the dirt with a little bit sticking out . itll dry out in no time
You can add a little honey to the water
Ive done my plant like that it lived
very good video
Im about to toss my neon pothos.Ive tried more light, less light, watering when totally dry, watering when its about 70 percent dry but no matter what i do i get small leaves that are a very pale yellow.First i thought it was to much light but nope, these yellow leaves come in randomly over the plant. Its not rootbound etc.I have never been able to get those bright leaves on it for whatever reason. There are no bugs and i fertilize it.To the trash its soon going.
Jeff are you leaving the alocasias in perlite permanently or do you have plans on moving them to soil or hydro? Is it possible to grow them permanently in perlite and if so how would I fertilize and with what kind of fertilizer?
